Reducing waste, rethinking resources

We see waste as something to be used, not thrown away. Food waste is turned into biogas, coffee grounds are used to grow mushrooms, and vegetable peelings feed our goats on the Swinton Estate.

From recycling cooking oil into biodiesel to turning cardboard and paper into fuel pellets, we’re constantly finding ways to close the loop. Very little goes to landfill, with most waste repurposed into energy or new materials. Where we can, we source from suppliers that use recycled packaging, and we return plastic bottles as part of our overall waste management service which is subsequently recycled further. In a closed loop, our glass is recycled and reformed.
