Nourish hosts its second Action Day, joined by Nourish partners Hill Cross Furniture, McInroy & Wood, NFU Mutual, TC Group, HECK, GenNorth, and IT services Odyssey.
The group heard from CSX Carbon and Woodland Trust, and took part in a practical hedge laying session at Swinton Bivouac. Hedge laying is a traditional countryside skill that stimulates new growth from the base of plants, creating a natural living fence that supports both livestock management and biodiversity.
An opportunity for our Nourish partners to get hands-on and actively contribute to sustainability efforts, participants learned about the importance of protecting and enhancing our natural environment.
